Skangass delivers liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Preem’s refinery in Sweden
Skangass AS and Preem AB have signed an agreement regarding the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Preem’s refinery in Lysekil on the west coast of Sweden. The agreement involves building the largest LNG receiving terminal in Scandinavia next to the refinery, an investment estimated at 55 million EUR.

First ship bunkering directly from Skangass LNG plant
The Swedish ship Bit Viking leave today to Risavika to refuel LNG. This has resulted in considerable excitement because it will be the first marine diesel engines that have been converted to gas engines.

Arctic Paper in Munkedal converts to LNG
In Munkedal, around 100 km north of Gothenburg, is one of the most beautifully situated paper mills anywhere in the world, Arctic Paper Munkedals AB. The location was chosen with care – but the paper mill was not the first settlement at the site. That honour belongs to the monks who later gave their name to the area, the paper mill, the town, the district and – finally – the brand.
