First ship bunkering directly from Skangass LNG plant
The Swedish ship Bit Viking leave today to Risavika to refuel LNG. This has resulted in considerable excitement because it will be the first marine diesel engines that have been converted to gas engines.

Arctic Paper in Munkedal converts to LNG
In Munkedal, around 100 km north of Gothenburg, is one of the most beautifully situated paper mills anywhere in the world, Arctic Paper Munkedals AB. The location was chosen with care – but the paper mill was not the first settlement at the site. That honour belongs to the monks who later gave their name to the area, the paper mill, the town, the district and – finally – the brand.

Official opening of Skangass LNG plant
Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Trond Giske opened the Skangass LNG plant in Risavika in the municipality of Sola earlier today. The plant is a major industrial enterprise in the Stavanger region.
